Hello,

Your version of Xubuntu reached end of life in April 2008 (Ubuntu releases) so you'll not be able to get any updates for that one I'm afraid. Your next best chance would be to do a clean install of the latest version after having backed up all your data. You could try to do various dist-upgrades to get to the latest stable version of your distro but I'm afraid you'll get your entire system screwed up in the process.

Kind regards,

Eric
