Ok mouse wheel problem


for some reasont he mouse wheel never works by default I keep having to do an xmmod to it. Its really kind of annoying now.....any suggestions?

Have you added the ZAxismapping line in X config file?

Is your mouse protocol set to IMPS/2 ?
This is what mine is set to, even though it plugs into a USB port.

My ZAxismapping line is set to "4 5"

Ah thanks I needed to bind it to 4 5 not 6 7....I will just need to live without my thumbbuttons in linux....but thats what mouse gestures are for :-D
