I've seen this answer somewhere else, but I can't seem to find it.
I just installed the latest NVidia drivers. Now, my fonts look weird. I believe, before, I added a line to the /etc/X11/XF86Config file. I can't remember it.
AFAIK, unless you actually edited your xorg.conf and altered the font definitions, you should still be using the same fonts as before. If you're using KDE, maybe try turning on font antialiasing in the control centre.
