nvidia driver
 
hellow everybody,
i have installed 32 bits centos 6.2 and my laptop model is compaq cq60. when i click system > preferences > desktop effects, Accelerated 3D graphisc is not available and Desktop effects require hardware 3D support.
can anybody guide me to install my nvidia driver..? any types of ideas are welcome and thank you in advance.

what does this yield:

lspci && lsmod
i would advise you enable the rpmfusion.com repo then run yum install kernel akmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs.

you mite need to run dracut after that ?
