NVIDIA Again...

Ok, my problem:
I am at the moment reading about Linux and experimenting at the same time, but I have a dial-up connection (I am not retarded, though...) so, long and repeated downloads cost me ...
If I update through YasT (Suse 8.2) the kernel , I cannot use the Acc. functions of NVIDIA, what should I do?

I understand that much of what appears to us mere mortals as 'Magic cript' is next to nothing for some , but any can I get any help?

First of all you'll need to install the drivers from nvidia and change the xfree config file according to the nvidia readme. To install the driver you'll need the kernel sources from Suse - not just the kernel. There is a howto at http://portal.suse.com/sdb/en/2003/0...vidia4349.html
