NVidia 1920x1200 res
 

Hi people,

Just installed Mandrake 10 with no problems.
However when I launce KDE, I can not get the screen to the true res of my PC?
I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop, Geforce 4200 Go Vid card, and a 1920x1200 res laptop screen. Will the nvidia drivers fix this?

I have downloaded them and tried to install.
Problem is it states I need binutils installed before I can continue??!

Where the hell do I get these, and how do I go about the install process?

Any help would be great!!

On the nvidia site nvida.com there are a lot of drivers and also a lot of info about how to install. Read that carefully.
