NumLock off by default?


Is there anyway to turn Numlock on when it boots? Why do they turn it off anyway

If you use the X graphical interface, just install the numlockx package (how to install it depends on your linux distribution). Then it will turn numlock on everytime you start x.

If you use kde theres a setting in control center peripherals keyboard.
