NTP error at boot up. Think it might be a permissions problem

chown: unknown user/group log:adm

This is the error I receive when my server boots up right after it tries to start the ntpd daemon.

I am running Alpine Linux Version 2.2 and openntpd.
Just want to get rid of this error message.
Thanks.

I just created the user "log" and the message went away.

I think it might have something to do with syslogd, is it running?
