ns-2 installation


Hi,

I have tried to install ns-allinone-2.29.....i followed the process given on the net....everything got installed properly except tcl and i got the following message

tcl8.3.2 configuration failed! Exiting....
Tcl is not part of the ns project

I don't know what to do....plz help

Spell out your words.

And it would be good if you provided details. Things like version/distro of Linux, WHICH process you followed/from where, etc. All we can tell you from what you posted is to install TCL, and re-read the instructions.

Which version of Ubuntu ? ?

sudo apt-get install \
libx11-dev libxmu-dev libxmu-headers libxt-dev libtool g++-4.1

Thanks guys....I realized i was using the wrong version of ns (on Ubuntu 9.04)...thanks for your assistance
