Quite new here, I want to enable NPIV on a physical redhat server. Is this possible first off? If so how can I do this.? My HBAs are compatible and can do NPIV, my switch too.

I am not sure what you are talking about? Are you saying will it work on Virtual machines? If yes, then the document explains that it works on VMs.
