This is the distro I use and recommend, Why because it works right out of the box. No need to configure Everything, everything just works. It also comes as a 1 CD install that is a live CD that you can install later if you wish.

Hi, i am a new user. i have winblows XP and wanted to try Linux
and have been running Ubuntu it is easy to install. i ran 8.4
8.10 and am now trying out 9.4 I still have Winblows XP on my desktop
and i put Ubuntu Linux on my laptop. it had Winblows XP on it.
and it just works. buy a book. i got How to do anything Ubuntu..
and a practical guid to Ubuntu Linux, both books are good. and
the net is full of info.
Glad to have you on board, spliffy. I'm a Fedora 10 user, and I'd recommend that or Ubuntu. I hope English is a second language for you, because your abuse of it is simply unacceptable otherwise.
