I am currently checking outTyping Typing Chimp's Character Writer3? Does anyone have any insights into this? Does it work well? Would you recommend it? Thanks!

Welcome to LQ ganymeder
what Linux distro are you using? Are you experienced in Linux? I have not used that app; but know of another thats similar and free but need to know your distro? |
We use Gentoo. My husband downloaded a free trial (no print or save), but I was wondering if anyone had used this or any other programs for novelwriting.

I marked this solved, but not really. I was just looking for opinions. My husband downloaded some free trial programs so we're experimenting with them. Thanks anyway.

OK
ganymeader I took my slackpkg wwmkr and decompressed it and put it back in .tar.gz format it will decompress to a folder named usr just put /usr/bin/wwmkr.gambas and the other stuff where it goes download wwmkr.usr.tar.gz http://multidistro.com/downloads/Apps/wwmkr.usr.tar.gz the depends for wwmkr are qt3 and gambas2-runtime; both should be available in portage then try to start it in terminal for debugging open a term and enter /usr/bin/wwmkr.gambas if no error messages and it starts your good. it uses an externel word processor like Abiword, Openoffice, etc another good writing app is Pyroom no formatting, etc, just a black screen! Pyroom should also be available in portage |
Deleted.
Opps, I get it now. The program sort of a template for keeping track of people in the boot. |
