notebook´s parameters&distribution /to run photoshop&GuitarPro6/your advice/beginers

Hi all!
I have few questions and I would be glad if you could help me.

1- I bought a notebook recently and I want to have a dual boot.
Which notebook´s parameters are important when deciding which linux distribution to use? (I´ve got Intel® Core™ i5-2430M Processor (3M Cache, 2.40 GHz); 8GB DDRAM3)

2- Can you advise me a distribution suitable for my parameters? ( I have already worked in terminal in Fedora (?14?15?) a bit. I would like to get more into a "Linux world" Nothing too complicated for beginning.)

3- If it is said that some distributions are difficult for beginners. What exactly does that mean?

4-My friend advised me to install ubuntu first and not to use fedora because fedora has paid support. What do you think about it?

5- While choosing a distribution. It is possible to find a one on that it is possible to run programs eg newest photoshop, or GuitarPro 6?

6- Finally the last one. What would you recommend me to keep in mind (in any way)?

Thank you very much for your time and answers!
I wish you all great and successful days!

photo shop is a windows program we have gimp and openoffice to handle that. your asking a hardware question actually because linux is linux
and does not matter what distribution you use you will install what is needed. GNU linux is just that ok. so to say one is better for you is wrong. I do 99 percent of my stuff in Slackware. spend most of the time fixing other distro's but hey. good luck and the programs you want to run can be had in any distro.
