Not able to view commandline text based GUI

Hi,

I Just installed RHEL5.1 on my VM (using VMware).

As next step I am trying to configure a network card.

I am trying to use textbased GUI from my shell.

After I type in the command:

# system-config-network-tui

The textbased window pops up, but disappears immediately.

I am thinking it has to with configuration of terminal display.

Can you guys help me to userstand what could be the issue?

Thanks,
Linuxnewbie

Ask RHEL; you're paying for them to support you.
