normal wait time for yast2 package reading?

I'm trying to install new packages from SuSE ftp for 9.1, however I seem to have been waiting "one moment" while YaST2 is "Reading package information" for the longest moment ever. Is this normal?

It takes a while, really. How long you mean?

It also quite depends on whether you have added any SuSE
ftp servers to your list of package sources :)

That may slow it down significantly. If you're only using a
3 CD set it shouldn't take longer than say 30 seconds on
a 1 GHz machine.

Cheers,
Tink
