noob having trouble with cedega

I have steam installed, worked an hour ago, now when I try to open steam through point2play, it just freezes (p2p) and does nothing. Suggestions?

P.S. admins, please don't move this to software->games, noone is ever on that forum, and I need a quick answer.

Have you read through the Transgaming forums? There are a number of posts there about Steam.

I don't use point to play to run steam. it runs fine on my machine I just use the icon it made on my kde desktop. Those freezes might be caused because you dont have a 100 percent of the game downloaded when it updates.

no Steam freezes P2P when I start STEAM, not a game, what would be the console command to run steam (cedega) if I installed steam to the default directory?

It should work by

cedega path/to/steam.exe

remember linux is case sensitive and there are no spaces use tab to complete entrys.

example

cedega .transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/Steam/Steam.exe
