Ya sorry, I had wondered if for some reason it was blocking the port when I signed into the remote building so I just thought I would try it from my cell to accessed that remote server. Don't know why I didn't also try a direct connection to the target as you had originally suggested but what I actually tested was
Code:
ssh from cell service -> remote machine -> target local machine
I had thought if the remote machine wouldn't connect through that server, nothing would because I had never had a problem connecting to any host from there before. In hindsight it actually would have made more sense just to attempt to connect direct from phone to the target but I had a mental slip I guess. Thanks once again to the community for trying to help though.
