Non Root Profile wont load after restart

I am hoping that somebody could tell me why after i reboot my system and try to log in as my normal non root account it just keeps restarting to the log in screen. I am using suse 9.0 and KDE the only software i'm using is the 1.7 mozilla openoffice aim and yahoo messanger. this happens with every reboot and i have to log in as root delete the user and add myself again then everything works fine till i reboot again. I hope that somebody can help me here.

maybe something goes wrong when initializing the X enviroment for the normal user, check the /home/<non-root user>/.xinitrc for anything unusual or simply delete the file (don't forget to backup!!)

with this file you may overwrite some things for the grafical enviroment, mostly use it to change to another desktop enviroment. there's a default xinitrc file so the .xinitrc in home dirs is not needed, unless some user doesn't like the default desktop and wants to use another.
