no XF86Config file

I just installed Nvidia drivers for my graphics card, and I have to edit the XF86Config file in /etc/X11/ in order to get them to work, but the XF86Config isn't there. I ran a full search for the file and it isn't on my system at all.

So I go to run xf86config in /usr/X11R6/bin ... and it isn't there either.

I'm confused as to why there is no XF86Config file in the first place, seeing as how I have been running X Windows with KDE before I decided to upgrade to the Nvidia drivers. I'm running Slackware 10, and it is installed on my Dell laptop.

Thanks in advance.

In 10.0 we don't have xfree86. We use xorg. /etc/X11/xorg.conf. It's nearly (for me) the same.

When you'll install nVidia drivers, then you'll be victorious :)
