No Wallpaper in kde 3.2
 

Hi, just a few days ago I could change my background image, either by dragging an image on the desktop, or just going into Configure Desktop. Now, i have a wallpaper, but if I try to change it, i get the background color, so i can only keep my current wallpaper... It's not a vital problem, but it gets annoying. Could someone help me out ?

You should be able to change your background by going to the KDE Control Center -> Appearance (Look'n'Feel) -> Backgrounds

Select "single Background" (or multiple if you want different pics on different virtual desktops - this is considerably slower, though), and it should let you browse to select a wallpaper.

Did that :) but the problem is still there, even in my Configure Desktop, when i select a new wallpaper, it shows in the little monitor my background color... :confused:

also tried modifying ~/.kde/share/config/kdesktoprc , but didnt work...
