No Sound on Dell D630 Latitude Laptop with Pendrivelinux

Hi All,

I installed Pendrive Linux (based on Mandrive Free) on a 4GB USB Stick and can boot using a persistant loop. Changes are saved.

However, I have no sound.

There is no error message that I can find.

I think either the sound card is not found or the volume is turned down / off.

There are volume keys on my laptop, but they do not work under linux.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Thanks
Dutch
