Question No sound in some applications.

Hello again.
Today I have a problem with my sound.
Basically, if I want to play music, I get errors saying I can't, and my sound card is in use and stuff like that.
from songbird:
Quote:
songbird could not open sound device for playback. Device is being used by another application.
This is getting annoying, but, I have sound in some online games...

any Ideas.
Thankyou
