no sound after suspend to disk with suse 10.3

Hi,

after suspend to disk with suse 10.3 I cannot get the sound working again. At the moment I only manage to solve the problem with a windows style reboot

Any suggestions how I can solve this in a better way?

I am using an IBM T30 laptop, the sound card is Intel 82801CA-ICH3.

Thanks.

you could try just restarting your alsasound..
make sure that you've lost your sound, and then open up a terminal and type:

su
yourpassword
/etc/init.d/alsasound restart

where yourpassword is the root password. Try playing a song after doing that.
