no screen found
 

when booting fedora, it tries to run xserve but it cannot and when disnoging the problem it says screens found but none with proper configuration and the following line is fatal error: no screen found


any idea how i could change the configuration?

be sure to check your log files for errors - something like /var/log/XFree86.#.log or Xorg.#.log

and double check your monitor vert/horiz rates are set correctly in the config file (XF86Config, xorg.conf, whichever you're using)

i cannot run xf86config, it cant seem to find it, what do i do?
