No Package libgnome-menu found

Hi,

Am really new to linux. Anyway, I was trying to install one of the applications, and got into the following error :

Package libgnome-menu was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libgnome-menu.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libgnome-menu' found

I tried searching for a solution, however couldn't find any online. Is there something wrong with my Linux installation? By the way, I am using a Fedora distribution, Fedora 3. Thanks!

Do (on konsole)
locate libgnome-menu.pc

It should give you a list of directories in which the file is. If the directory under which the file libgnome-menu.pc is xxxxx then do:

PKG_CONFIG_PATH=$PKG_CONFIG_PATH:xxxx

Then continue with your installation.

Hi,

When I do the following, I get no results returned. Am I missing a package in this case? Anywhere I could download this package? Thanks!

Btw, just like to check is libgnome-2.0.pc or libgnomeui-2.0.pc the same as libgnome-menu.pc? If that is the case, should I change the file name in configure? Which statement to edit in this case?
