No open programs show on panel. Using Gnome on Redhat/Fedora

Ok..im not sure how i did this...but sumhow, like now, i have Mozilla open, but it doesn't show up on the panel. I tried going to proerties, but i couldn't find anything that i thought wuld be usefull there. When i minimize anything i open, it shows it moving down to the panel, but i cant see it there, or click on it. Its like it becomes lost or something. But i can switch to it with alt+tab.
I am currently using the GNOME desktop with Redhat/Fedora.

It sounds like either you're missing the 'Windows List' (I think that's what it's called) applet on the panel or that applet is set for the window bars to be of size 0 (not even sure if that's possible).

i've done this before, and i think that it is done in the toolbar properties section. something about showing non-minimized windows. (can't check the exact names and locations as i am at work on a windows box  ) try right clicking on the toolbar and looking through the options. to see if this is the case, minimize that mozilla window. does it now appear on your toolbar? if so, i will look when i get home today and tell you exactly how it is done.

hope this helps, and sorry about the lack of exact details.

OK, since he wouldn't tell anyone ....

Right click on the toolbar (panel), select "Add to panel", then select "Window list".

Hey it's simple you have to add the tasks applet or gadget or anything related to it to taskbar or panel

Just do as I said in title thanks

This thread had been closed for EIGHT YEARS before you reopened it. If you have relevant information post it..telling people to read your subject line isn't good. Especially since the related question is about software that's eight years old at this point.
