No mouse in Tails

Using Tails 2.0 on my desktop it does not recognize my PS/2 mouse? I only use Tails from the DVD so how do I get it to recognize the mouse without having to install the OS?
1st post ever

Never use Tails, but is there a device manager from the GUI to enable or disable a mouse?

No, there is an options menu on my laptop x86 but when using my desktop 64 bit I cannot use either my mouse or my keyboard.
In the options section using 32 bit there is nothing available in the options startup menu.

At the bottom of the screen in 64 bit there seems to be some small text windows (GUI?) but without mouse or keyboard I cannot access anything after startup?

It might help to create /etc/X11/xorg.conf
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_create_xorg.conf
and add an entry for the mouse
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US...xorg.conf.html
http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/...ousedrv.4.html

I'm sorry I couldn't find better guides, but xorg.conf is rarely used these days.
