Can you ping the wireless? or just the linksys? and try setting the wireless as default gateway

OK found my own answer.

sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces
(and added in the following)

iface eth0 inet static
broadcast 192.168.1.255
address 192.168.1.x
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.1

saved and exited and disable/enable network connection and recieved my internet connections.
