Hey folks,
I installed maxima from SlackBuilds.org and the GUI package.
Everything works, meaning I can start maxima and xmaxima from the virt. terminal, but there is no menu icon in the xfce menu.
Now this causes not a so big problem because it is just one programm that is not listed. But, what do I do, if there are more than 10 programms for example, sometimes it is hard to remember that a programm is installed
And writing a file seems stupid - even searching the binaries (which, of course, means that you know you have got the programm installed).
So, my question is:
Why aren't there icons for xmaxima in the menu?
And how can I add them to it?

P.S. I've got the same problem with emesene.
And maybe I should say that I did not install the KDE Package, when I installed Slackware - but I dont think this really matters.

I think you can resolve your problem by editing Xfce main menu. More links: link1, or link2.
