They are right, though. GLXgears is shifty at best. Look at this.

20143 frames in 5.0 seconds = 4028.600 FPS
16339 frames in 5.0 seconds = 3267.800 FPS

Up and down...up and down. Doom III runs very well on this system, GLXgears is just smokin' crack.
