Any time that you alter your kernel, you must let NVidia recompile the modules and insert them for you using the install program by:
1. su
2. [password]
3. init 3
4. sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8774-pkg1.run -K [NOTE: NVIDIA-Linux...run] denotes downloaded NVIDIA installer.

You will have to do this everytime you update your kernel
