no ext3 and ext4 file system on fdisk?

click l to list all the file system type.

What does fdisk actually say about the "l" sub-command ?. Read it carefully.
fdisk deals with partitions, not filesystems directly. Use the Linux type, 0x83, for all - use mkfs to create the filesystem of choice. Note that Linux swap is separate.
