No drivers for ATI Radeon Xpress 1100, and no Network connection

As a Newbie and sold on Linux please can you help me with my Laptop, its has a AMD Turion 64 Mobile Technology with a 256mg ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 graphics card. It does not seem to be able to find a driver and as a 72hour convert could anybody help. The other is it will not connect with my orange wireless Livebox. Thank you

Second, what sort ov video display have you got at the moment? Like, are you logged into a console?

Did you get my second message about my video 1280 x 800 (WXGA) and the shared memeory for my graphics card being 256MB for this laptop. Hope you can help :)
Oh on the expert bit smiles. I think the quote EX being Past, and SPERT a forced drip form a tap comes to mind. I'm none just a guy who made it to retirement, having seen what the real world looks like. Again thank you for you time and I hope you can help me.
