nis-nfs server configuration

i have configured NIS server but there is a problem... when i login(GUI based) from client machine
in first attempt of login it shows your home directory does not exist but in 2nd attempt of login it successfully logedin particular users home directory... so i want to know why first time it shows error message....

please reply if any one have any solution or idea ......

i think the nis services are starting before the nfs services. So, if you find any ways to delay the nis services till the nfs services are started, then it would solve your problem.
