NIC driver install problem
Ok, I don't have my previous problem anymore. I got Redhat installed, but now I have a new problem.
Apparently I need to compile the files to install the network card somehow, and I have no clue how and I cant seem to find anything telling me how.
Could anyone tell me, or show me where i could find info on making an install for the NIC drivers?

Enlighten us about make * model of the device
in question? And where/how did you get the
drivers? Have you read the README presumably
bundled with them?
Cheers,
Tink

Its the "Intel 82559" onboard LAN for the Asus CUV4X-DLS. I got the drivers from Intel.com. Yes I did read the documentation, but the problem is I have no idea how to make an install batch or whatever. I guess I'm too used to .exe

You won't need to do anything in this case (I
wouldn't think so, anyway) ... that should work
with the stock eepro100 module ...
Have a look at the output of
lsmod
If it doesn't report a eepro100
try a
modprobe eepro00
Cheers,
Tink
