one word.

Webmin

Ok, now i've got that out of the way.
For httpd RH9 comes with Apache, it's the best make sure it's installed and use webmin to get it setup.
RH9 should also have webmin installed, it's a web based server interface, makes life easy.

Ftp I'd go download pureftp, RH comes with proftp but I like pureftp better myself.

Mail? Unless you have a domain name or your pulling your mail from your isp with it, I would'nt worry about it.

Okay cool Done all of that, but now, how to have people access it from the out side, where do i get the right ip address's how do i get a domoain name and ??? I am going to have allot of ?'s but first off.

How do i allow people to access it from the out side of my network?
(I am networked thru an WinXP Machine to My DSL connection)

Where do i get the appropriate Address's?

How can i get a domain name?

Not only the domain name, also need static IP address.
If you can't afford the static IP, then use the free re-directing service like "www.noip.com".

Okay so i have installed the NOIP software, and it is running. But i cant get into my server from an other pc let alone an other on the same network. I keep getting the "Connection Refused" message. Is this an easy thing to fix?

I have alread told my XP machine that the Linux PC is the one that is running the HTTP, FTP, MAIL, and IRC Servers. But i cant seem to get it to work. Pleae help.
