Newbie stuff.
So I'm trying to get all of the stuff I need downloaded and ready before I go and install Mandrake 9.0.
But my first download, I've run into a problem: NVIDIA's drivers won't fit on a single disk. Without having to burn them to a CD and use up 4 mb on a 700 mb disc, is there any way I can download them and use them? Last time I tried to install Mandrake without having drivers ready (8.2), it wouldn't even let me get to the graphical interface. I'm too dumb when it comes to Linux to have a clue what to do then. Explain it as simple as possible for a dumb person. |
You could burn them onto a CDRW? Or, if it's going to be the same machine, mount the Windows partition after you've installed Mandrake and use the files from there... presuming, of course, that you'll keep Windows around for a while.
