newbie, RH9: how to install Xinet and from where do I install and load files?
 
:confused:
first time here(assume my ignorance)
RH ( works well) but serious newbie would like to know where Xinet files should be loaded and should Xnet be compiled from there?

Do you mean xinetd? If so, it should be installed by default. What files are you trying to "load"? Do you mean services like httpd, sshd, or do you mean files to install like rpms or .tar.gz files?

You can install it from your Linux (RedHat) Cds...When you install it it will automatically starts when you boot the machine...;]~
