Question Newbie request - is this the right place for Mailman questions?

Hi, all,

A Google search for info on Mailman led me here, so if this is the wrong place, please tell me where I might get help.

I just transferred my web site to a new provider that uses Mailman 2.1.13 for mailing lists. I have configured a lot of the basic stuff already, but I'm not sure how to do some things. I have several mailing lists that have different needs. For instance:

In one type I want:

only group members to be able to mail to the list;
all emails to the list to be automatically approved and sent;
all subscriptions to be moderated - no subscribe or unsubscribe options for members.

In another type I want:

anyone to be able to mail to the list;
all emails to the list to be automatically approved and sent;

Can anyone help me, or do you know of a place where I can get help?

Ed

I can't help much except for pointing you to the documentation, and in particular the installation and configuration guides mentioned in the first paragraph (I would have linked you directly, but there are several different formats...) It seems to cover setting up and configuring mailing lists, so that seems a good start

Sorry for the long delay, I was trying to get our email back up and running on the new server. Thanks a lot for the reply, I will check out the documentation. Take care!
