newbie needs help


Hi, am struggling to play age of empires. I know it's microsoft but the wine program wont even activate. Am i doing something wrong or is there a similar game i should get? All help greatly received.

Depending on the AOE version, Wine will run it relatively well, though not perfectly. It won't run under a VM because the emulated video card in Vbox and Vmware isn't supported. See the following:
