newbie help plssssssss
what is GUI and rpm
:newbie:  |
Both are acronyms - gui is Graphical User Interface - it is a pretty way for you to deal with the program. The unix roots had everything run from a command line, and everything still works that way, but the gui has made things easier for many people. rpm is redhat package manager. a gui is a generic term, and rpm is an installer for linux. An rpm can install almost anything, from a kernel through a tiny application.
