Newbie help in general
 
Hi. Im new to the linux wolrd, and just installed debian no my old computer. Does anybody know of any good newbie tutorials about like adding users, how to configure webserver, fileserver and printerserver and so on? And how to add users and stuff...

Is this a joke?? How about making YOUR point a bit clearer.....As for OP, his question was pretty obvious

for OP: One good (free) way to get you feet wet is to open a terminal and type "info coreutils". This gives a good intro to the basic commands.

Did someone mention Google???...;) Try this: type in "add users in debian". Whole bunch of info.

Off topic, but I wonder what the downside is of always Googling my way out of a problem---are they somehow getting revenue from me in a way that I not even aware?

I assume google does make money through you using google: the more people use google the more valuable the advertising becomes.
To be honest i have no problem with them making money as they do provide a good service. Why was that you asked?
