Newbie Debian question

Hi,

I am new to linux.
Last week I decided i want to learn Linux and then mostly the Server side.

I decided on Debian.
I downloaded the latest stable release and installed it on an old Amd 750Mhz with 256Mb mem without any problems. The OS installed fine.
But now...?

I have no clue what the smartest thing is to do. I would like to some day have a Debian webserver running. But my goal is to learn to understand Linux, to be able to setup, maintain and troubleshoot it as well.

Can anybody give me tips/pointers to documentation that is suitable for me? I have a lot of experience with Windows servers/networks but this is completely new to me so consider me a real linux noob with knowledge about tcp/ip and networking.

Basically I am looking for help and documentation/manuals etc etc.

Regards,
LuminoLL

Check out the LQ bookmarks, there's quite a few articles on networking + webservices. www.linuxhomenetworking.com/ might be good place to start reading up on stuff. Debian is a good distro for web services and the like, as it's very easy to install + configure the packages you need.
