new user new problems


1) i got problem downloading java as a plugin in netscape browser always i get error that download java i click yes it take me to site where i click download for linux ,it download but in the middle it gives me this error:

2) i got the way i can get my e-mails through my isp on k-mail,but i cant get send messege i put option to smtp server for my isp,any idea.
3) the last question i has printer lexmark z-11 and linux os can read that as it does show me as default but i cant get to work it shows it is installed but i cant print nothing.
sorry for this BIG question,i think why not 3 in 1

after you set up your printer you need to click the apply button before any of the settings will take place. I don't know if that will fix your problem but I had a similiar problem with my RH7.1 printer setup and after going back and redoing the add printer setting in the control panel , I clicked apply and that fixed my problem
