you cant run .exe on ubuntu...
anyway open a console and enter the following command
Code:
# sudo apt-get purge zipinfo ; sudo apt-get install zipinfo
if it asks for a password just type in your login password
reboot, and see what happens

mf93, First let me thank you for checking in to help a Linux newbie.I really like the idea behind Linux. If I can master terminals and command lines,I'd definitely have a better understanding of a P.C. Anyway I ran command, also ran command for apt-cdrom add, like I thought it said in terminal=scheri@scheri-laptop:~$ sudo pic/etc/fstab

@mf93: I don't know what you are doing to try here. Zipinfo is part of the unzip package, which a simple apt-file search zipinfo had shown to you. No need to fiddle with sources.list or apt-cdrom.

@hydropass: It is like mf93 stated in his first post: You can't run Windows-Software in Ubuntu. Don't bother with his other suggestions, there is no issue with your installation. You just have to put your sources.list in the original state, as it was before mf93's suggestions. Maybe you can copy it from a live-CD running your Ubuntu-Version.
