Question New to XFCE, hence this question...

Hi,

Okay, I'm new to XFCE and notced it opened a program without my intervention.

Simple question:

Does XFCE persist the status of programs? If I close down and leave one program open, does XFCE restart that program the next time round?

Thanks

Thor

If you shut down XFCE with the button in the bar or the entry in the menu you will have a small dialog where you can choose to log out, restart, etc. Under that choices there is a checkbox where you can enable to save the session state and restore it at next log in.
