new to suse 8.1 pro installation

im installing it now, on a 750 i had lying around..
my question is.. i put checks in EVERYTHING.. does that mean it installs everything, or is there another place to click on.. ?
cause it only used 2 cds before i started the configuring of the computer step.. and you know how the checks show up next to each cd as you are finished iwth it.. the checks just went right on down the line from cd3 to cd7..
did i miss something?

When I opt for checking all available group packages during installation it didn't install everything indeed, well, almost everything.

Launch YAST2 modules -> Software -> Install or Remove Software and you will see some more available rpms.

It seems that you cannot install everything in SuSe because some packages will conflict with others. Load other CDs and see if there are more packages available (some are codes, srpms, docs, kernels, etc.).

It comes with manuals so check there for the packages you want.

Have a lot of fun :-)
