NEW to Fedora and Linux can't get some hardware to work

okay guys I am an old microsoft and OS/2 user. I have always called it plug and PRAY!

I just loaded Fedora due to too many problems with spyware and such because I have a 13 year old that downloads anything and everything...

I was amazed at how the system seems to work so quickly BUT.
My logitech quickcam notebooks deluxe cam wont load. I want to use it with Skype.

also if found my Netgear USB G wireless card and it finds more wireless networks around than Microsoft ever did, but it seems not to want to connect. It only likes networks that it is right on top of and sorta defeats the idea of wireless and go anywhere. Any ideas would be great.

I downloaded a 5xxx driver for my web cam but have no clue where to put the damn thing.. HELP!!! LOL

First do a search using http://www.google.com/linux

Have you tried posting this at the fedora forums or on a mailing list?

Command...

Open a terminal as "su" and use the command "lshw" with all your devices attached to see what the hardware is as seen by linux and post back. If you don't have "lshw", you can download an RPM.
