In that case please ignore inxi - it's just a package that gives a nice summary of your hardware & software.
I'm using a different distro from Ubuntu (LMDE - also based on Debian).

I suggest (as an alternative) that you load the live distro from USB & run gparted (from Ubuntu), to see a GUI picture of your disk partitions.
Do not change anything as this would likely destroy your data.

Take a screen shot and send it to this forum.
You may have to insert a 2nd USB stick to temporarily store your screenshot.

Did you use a live CD and backup your files to a USB or external drive. You have two images in /boot. I have had 10 before it acted up. What changes did you make before it stopped working?

Depends on how big /boot is.
