New person with some silly, unimportant questions
 

Hi, as a newbie I'm but a few hours old. and just have some questions. I'm running fedora 14, installed on one box, and live on about 3 others.

I know there are work arounds for some things and not others, so I just want to ask about keeping some of my favorite games; Diablo II, Settlers III, and seriously, Entropia Universe. These games require direct draw, directx, and so on.

For some of the dos based games I would use dosbox. For the others check online to see if anyone has gotten it working or has a client for linux. If not then you may end up having to use wine.

You can install wine from a distro respostory, im not sure how this is done in fedora as I never use that system.

I'd guess that # 'yum install wine-desktop'
will install the most of the 23 wine packages.

Thank you. They had suggestions, but basically it was "Dual Boot" :D
